How Cancellation Works
Cancelling is self-service and takes effect immediately — but what happens next depends on timing. Here is exactly how it works.
What Happens When You Cancel
- Your paid time stays yours. The license keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for
- Future invoices are voided automatically. Any unpaid renewal invoice for a future period is cancelled with it — you owe nothing further
- Auto-renewal stops. No new invoices will be created
The Golden Rule of Timing
Renewal invoices are created 7 days before your license expires — and if you keep a wallet balance, they are paid instantly at creation.
So: if you do not plan to renew, cancel more than 7 days before expiry. That way no renewal invoice is ever created and your wallet is never charged.
Cancelled after the invoice was already wallet-paid by mistake? Contact support right away — we review those cases.
What Cancellation Does NOT Do
- It does not delete your account, other licenses, or your wallet balance
- It does not refund the current period — the license simply runs until the paid period ends
- Wallet credit stays in your account for any future purchase (it cannot be withdrawn — see the wallet guide)
Changed Your Mind?
If the license has not been terminated yet, support can usually un-cancel it — open a ticket. After termination, simply order the product again.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I cancelled but the license still shows active. Is that a bug? A: No — that is your remaining paid time. It shows cancelled (active until [date]) and will not renew.
Q: Will I get a refund for the unused days? A: Cancellation stops future billing; the current period is not pro-rated. If something exceptional happened, open a ticket and we will review it case by case.
Q: I want to cancel just one of my licenses. A: Cancellation is always per-license. Open that license's page and cancel it — your other services are untouched.
