License Suspended? How to Reactivate in Minutes
A suspension is almost never permanent and almost always about one thing: an unpaid invoice. Here is how to get back online in minutes — and make sure it never happens again.
Why Licenses Get Suspended
| Reason | What it means |
|---|---|
| Unpaid invoice past its due date | 95% of cases. The renewal invoice was not paid before the due date |
| Payment made on a different service | You paid an invoice — but for another license. Each license bills separately |
| Fair-use review | Rare — unusual activity flagged for a quick manual check |
How to Reactivate — 3 Steps
- Log in and open Invoices — look for any invoice marked Unpaid or Overdue
- Pay it (wallet, card, or crypto). If a late fee was added, it is included in the total — why late fees happen
- Done. Reactivation is automatic — your license revalidates within a few minutes of payment. No ticket needed.
Still suspended 15 minutes after paying? Open a support ticket with your IP address — we will fix it immediately.
"But I Already Paid!"
The most common confusion — check these before opening a ticket:
- Multiple licenses = multiple invoices. Paying your cPanel invoice does not renew your CloudLinux invoice. Check that every license's invoice is paid
- You paid the old invoice, not the new one. Each renewal period gets its own invoice — sort by due date and check the newest
- The expiry date updates when the invoice is paid — if your dashboard still shows the old period, check for an unpaid renewal invoice
Make Suspension Impossible
Keep a small wallet balance. Renewal invoices are paid automatically the moment they are created — a full 7 days before the due date. You never think about it again, and deposits earn bonus credit. How the wallet works
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will my websites go down instantly when the license suspends? A: The control panel license stops validating, which restricts panel functions. Restore it quickly by paying the open invoice — reactivation is automatic.
Q: Do I lose my data during suspension? A: No. Suspension only affects license validation. Your server, sites and data are untouched.
Q: My license was suspended even though I see no unpaid invoice. What now? A: Open a support ticket with your server IP — this is the rare case that genuinely needs a human.
